San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Establishes Executive Leadership Cabinet

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians CEO, Loren Gill, announced today the formation of an Executive Leadership Cabinet (ELC) which will support the Tribe in its governmental and commercial endeavors.

“It is an exciting time at San Manuel,” says Loren Gill. “I am truly honored to work with so many outstanding leaders who have been critical to our success. Ensuring we have the right people in the right places is a major priority for us and this is the first step in setting a strong foundation that allows for future growth and development. I’m excited for each of them in this next step in their career as they’re all deserving of this recognition and promotion. ”

San Manuel Casino today announced the appointment of Peter Arceo to Chief Operating Officer and the hire of Rikki Tanenbaum as Chief Marketing Officer.

Elevating Arceo from his former role as CMO to that of COO, combined with Tanenbaum’s proven track record of leading senior marketing teams in the casino and hospitality spaces, will progress San Manuel Casino’s growth trajectory to become the top Southern California entertainment destination. The appointment and leadership addition follows the casino’s most recent announcement that it broke ground on plans to add its first onsite luxury hotel, a world-class entertainment venue, as well as an array of state-of-the-art amenities including new dining experiences, retail and event spaces and more.

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians today held a ceremony to officially begin its major expansion project through Yaamava’, a celebratory event and groundbreaking ceremony. The expansion is set to include San Manuel Casino’s first onsite hotel, a world-class entertainment venue, and an array of state-of-the-art amenities, including new dining experiences, retail and event spaces, and more. This project is a major step forward for the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and the surrounding community that brings employment opportunities as well as enhanced entertainment experiences to our casino guests.

San Manuel Casino Is Awarded Best Casino in the Inland Empire By the Sun, Redlands Daily Facts And Inland Valley Daily Bulletin Readers

The San Bernardino Sun, Redlands Daily Facts and Inland Valley Daily Bulletin readers recognized San Manuel Casino as the “Best Casino” in the Inland Empire.

They were also awarded two additional honors in the food and employment categories during their annual Reader's Choice poll for the “Best of the Inland Empire 2018.”

It is tradition for readers of the three newspapers to nominate and vote for the best of the Inland Empire. Votes were tallied from ballots cast online and through the newspapers.

San Manuel Announces Hotel and Casino Expansion Plans

 The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians today unveiled plans to improve and expand its casino space, a project that is expected to create approximately 1,400 jobs during construction and 1,200 new jobs in San Bernardino County.

“As a leading tourism destination in the region, we’re often asked, ‘Why doesn’t San Manuel have a hotel?’” said Jerry Paresa, Chief Executive Officer of the Tribe. “A hotel and other improvements will allow us to meet the growing needs of our guests, and bring additional economic benefits to the community.”
